IsaLean® Shake Leads to Mortgage Payments & New Life
Gail and Doug Volean never wanted to start an Isagenix® business. Really all they wanted were the tasty IsaLean® Shakes and products that helped them feel so good.
Then they couldn’t shut up about it.
Soon, beyond experiencing better sleep, improved energy and lost inches, they were receiving a small debit card in the mail from Isagenix loaded with commissions. Doug largely ignored the card and the kept sharing their experiences with friends, but then one day the card’s amount was enough to cover a car payment.
“That got my attention,” laughs Doug, former owner of a marketing and sales company in the textile industry. “Then it was a mortgage payment and we knew we needed to take Isagenix and this opportunity more seriously.”
Another light bulb went off when they began researching the company and its leaders. When they saw the name “Jim Coover” and connected the dots to the success the Isagenix Co-Founder and President had had in the past along with his integrity, they knew they were on to something. In fact, Gail literally leapt off her chair.
They decided to forgo their full-time efforts flipping houses and reallocated their time to connecting with more people, coaching and traveling to support their team members’ Isagenix presentations.
At the heart of it all, the couple says they truly enjoy helping others discover ultimate health and then creating an extra stream of income for themselves.
“It’s so rewarding to see people doing well. We’ll really do anything for anyone and we mean that sincerely,” shares Gail.
Adds Doug “When we’re working with people one-on-one with their businesses, we tell them to call us 10 or 15 times a day if they need it. We’re there to support them.”
For these semi-experienced networkers, what continues to capture their attention is the quality of the leadership in Isagenix, the commitment everyone has to the vision and the level of integrity that’s constantly demonstrated.
“I’ve worked with a lot of large companies as a former business owner and I know what they did to grow,” says Doug. “I can tell you that Isagenix is a long-term company that’s positioning itself for even bigger growth and it’s not overleveraged. That’s incredibly important.
The 4-Star Golden Circles from New York say they wish they’d jumped on board with the business opportunity sooner, but are happy to pass along their words of wisdom to new team members who hesitate like they once did.
“We let our team members know that not everyone will be successful, but everyone can be successful,” shares Doug. “What it comes down to is what the person wants, if they’re willing to be coached and if they’re willing to learn.”
