Mechanic Finds “Perfect Vehicle” For Transforming Lives

Dave worked as a Honda mechanic for more than 15 years and continued to struggle to make ends meet. He even had two side jobs on top of his full-time occupation – one fixing cars at his home and another delivering newspapers before work each day. With so much on his plate, the 40-year-old from Utah felt worn down and completely exhausted.

“I was in survival mode, just doing whatever it took to get through the day,” recalls Dave. “I was discouraged.”

It was only when he and his wife stumbled upon an Isagenix® booth at an expo that fate turned Dave’s life around. His wife pulled him over to a booth and told him to listen to what the person had to say. He begrudgingly took the business card, but then tossed it in the garbage when he got home. Fortunately for him, his wife won a drawing for a free 9-Day System.

“I caved and by the third day on Isagenix, I couldn’t believe how good I felt. I lost weight, but the bigger issue was that my need for the energy drink I depended on and all the sugary foods, it all went away,” explains Dave, who lost 55 pounds.*

He knew he had something special on his hands right away, so he didn’t waste any time getting the message out.

“It so dramatically changed my quality of life, and when something does that to you, you want to get on a soapbox and tell that to the world,” he explains.

The first outlet Dave discovered for sharing his experience was local meetings and it was at one of these meetings that he discovered exactly what he had on his hands: incredible products and an incredible business opportunity.

With the overwhelming workload Dave had taken on – from delivering papers in his old Honda Civic that had 300,000 miles on it to working 12 hours or more each day fixing cars – he realized that Isagenix offered him an opportunity he’d never had before—freedom from the financial strain.

“I got serious about it; I didn’t treat it like a hobby. I was committed to improving my family’s life and my life,” he says. “I realized with this business model, all I have to do is get people to put the product in their mouth. Then I just have to teach and train. All you have to have is a little bit of a vision to see that it’s unlimited financially.”

Within a year,** Dave became a 3 Star Golden Circle. Both his health and his wealth have improved dramatically. Along with those improvements came even more free time to spend with his family and relax with his wife, Cary, things he had been missing out on because of his hectic schedule.

“Before, I would come home and I would just sit down on the couch and fall asleep because I was so worn out,” Dave says. “But now, my wife’s got her husband back.”

With the extra income he earned with his Isagenix business, Dave was able to purchase a 4,400-square-foot dream home. Fittingly, the cars that once symbolized Dave’s workload and financial struggles have been pushed to the backburner as Isagenix has become the main focus of his efforts. He hopes to one day build a garage where he can restore cars as a hobby, but for now, he’s busy sharing Isagenix with others. Even though he’s had amazing success, he remains humble about it and says it’s still not his ultimate priority.

“Money is cool, but it doesn’t bring happiness. There is a lot of value in contributing to someone else’s life, so I have the opportunity to build a perfect business,” explains Dave. “You’re working a job and you’re building somebody else’s dream.
