Marine Recruit Fulfills Lifelong Dream
Zach used to tip the scales at 338 pounds. The 24-year-old with the nickname “Porter House” worried that his lifelong struggle with his weight would keep him from accomplishing his lifelong dream: to become a Marine.
That all changed after he enlisted the Cleansing and Fat Burning System to overcome his weight-loss challenge. After dropping 101 pounds* through Nutritional Cleansing, he finally caught the attention of military recruiters.
“I was poor, broke and disgusted with myself before I discovered Isagenix,” says Zach. “Now I’ve made my dream a reality.”
Sworn into the Marines earlier this year, Zach left for Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in San Diego a few months later. He’s thrived at boot camp and is even inspiring others to try Nutritional Cleansing.
“Wherever I go, drill instructors from other platoons come and ask me about Isagenix,” says Zach. “I’m a celebrity.”
Since arriving at boot camp, Zach has lost another 50 pounds* by using his products and doing rigorous daily exercise. He’s now a lean 190 pounds* and even wears size 30 pants*.
“I’m going to need all new clothes,” jokes Zach. “But it’s a great problem to have.”

“When I received the Top Achievers magazine in the mail my Senior Drill Instructor called the overweight recruits over and told them ‘there is a way, there is hope. I call that determination — that’s motivating,’” he says.
After he finishes boot camp this summer, Zach will likely be stationed in San Diego, or shipped out to North Carolina, Japan or Hawaii, but he’s already making plans to bring along his most prized possessions: his Isagenix products.
“It’s easier to concentrate during classes and instruction and I feel amazing,” says Zach. “I don’t know what I’d do without Isagenix.”
