New Mom Builds a Family and Her Isagenix® Business
Between the feedings, naps, and frequent diaper changes, new mom Hilari is proof that building a family and an Isagenix® business can go hand in hand.
Six weeks after joining Isagenix, Hilari found out that she was pregnant. Even though she had been with a previous network marketing company, she was starting from scratch in building her business. She didn’t let her plans to start her family keep her from building her team.
“Faith, family, Isagenix—those are the beliefs and priorities I live by,” says Hilari. “You have to faith in yourself, belief in others and a vision for achieving your goals.”
That vision has catapulted Hilari to a 5-Star Golden Circle in less than two years.* Now, with her 13-month old son and the support of her husband, she continues to reach new milestones.
“You can be a stay-at-home mom and have a successful business without sacrificing one for the other,” explains Hilari. “The key for me has been setting boundaries, developing a schedule and having a support system.”
Those boundaries include setting aside regular office hours to focus on the business and support her team, as well as time to devote to her family. Her schedule includes weekly 100-mile trips from her rural neighborhood to nearby Kansas City for meetings and networking events.
“Network marketing is a great business for moms because it offers flexibility and true residual income,” shares Hilari. “I was able to take seven weeks off after the birth of our son, which turned out to be some of my highest commission weeks.”
Hilari’s nurturing nature has also helped her to lead her team to success, as well. She hosts quarterly two-day retreats to provide training and also invites leaders from her upline to attend and share their business-building tips. The attendance has grown from a dozen people to more than 145.
She’s a big believer in her vision boards, which are located throughout her home. They showcase pictures of the home she hopes to build in a few years and the dreams she has for her family.
“It’s important to have a vision and put it in front of you every day so you know what you’re working toward,” says Hilari. “For us, it’s not just our vision boards, but it’s looking at our son and knowing we want to build a secure future for him.”
