1st Place: Healthy Heaven Shake
Created By: Chuck and Angela, Chandler, AZ
Prize: Cleansing President’s Pak
Healthy Heaven Shake
1 ½ Scoops of Vanilla IsaLean® Shake
½ Scoop of IsaPro®
¾ of one Serving of SlimCakes®
2 tsp of IsaCrunch™
½ Scoop of Isagenix Greens!™
½ Cup Crushed Ice
8 oz Purified Water
Blend to your desired consistency and serve.
Consultants Chuck and Angela came up with this delicious oatmeal-flavored treat because they craved the Italian desserts they were once accustomed to. Chuck shares “I wanted to come up with a shake that really had a great flavor and one that most people wouldn’t believe is healthy. I think I definitely achieved that with this recipe and now losing weight and getting healthy isn’t much of a sacrifice.”
Judges Comments: We recommend it as a “once-in-a-while” treat because it has a higher calorie and sugar content count than a normal IsaLean® Shake, but this fits the bill for a great way to break up your routine. To compensate for the added calories, try reducing the calories in one of your meals on the day you try this.
2nd Place: IsaAlmonds
Created By: Kat, Aliso Viejo, CA
Prize: Cleansing and Fat Burning System: 30-day supply
IsaAlmonds
Ingredients
Raw Almonds (desired amount)
Want More Energy?® in Orange
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200° F.
Pour raw almonds evenly in a single layer onto a non-greased cookie sheet.
Roast almonds for 55-60 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle Want More Energy?® in Orange lightly and evenly over the hot almonds.
When cooled completely, store IsaAlmonds in a sealed plastic zip-lock bag. Hint: Store with empty shake scoop to serve the almonds.
One-Star Golden Circle, Crystal Executive Kat whipped up this tasty Cleanse Day snack one day when she wanted to roast raw almonds in the oven. She wondered what the roasted nuts would taste like if she sprinkled
Want More Energy?® in Orange over the top of them after they were fresh out of the oven. With that, “IsaAlmonds” were born. Kat says they’re not only great to have on Cleanse Days and added to salads, but they’ve also been a big hit at her home parties.
Judges Comments: Unique snack idea for Cleanse Days and great taste thanks to the hint of orange. Make sure you don’t go overboard with the
Want More Energy?® when you sprinkle it over the hot almonds. It's also important to abide by the number of almonds recommended for Cleanse Days.
3rd Place: 5-in-1 Carrot Charisma Shake
Created By: Edith, West Jordan, UT
Prize: Cleansing and Fat Burning System: 30-day supply
5-in-1 Carrot Charisma Shake
2 Scoops of Vanilla IsaLean® Shake
8 oz Purified Water
4 Ice Cubes
1 Scoop Isagenix FiberPro™
1 Scoop IsaFruits®
1 tsp IsaCalcium™
1 small/medium-sized Finely Chopped Carrot
Blend and enjoy.
Consultant Edith wanted to mix up her children’s shake routine one day because “they love to try new ingredients.” She thought a carrot might do the trick and added other Isagenix® products to boost the health factor even further. She loves the shake because “not only does it taste great, but it also gives me the confidence that it’s healthy for the kids.”
Judges Comments: Unusual, but tasty pairing of the carrot, IsaFruits® and IsaCalcium™. Might be a little too sweet for some. One suggestion is to reduce the amount of IsaFruits® and/or IsaCalcium™ to tone down the flavor. Edith’s use of one of the newest products, Isagenix FiberPro™, was also fantastic.
