72-year-old Cyclist Embarks on 2,300-mile Trek to Support Isagenix’s Call to Donate to Childhelp

Chandler, Ariz. – June 15, 2006 – Isagenix Associate George Ledbetter, 72, of Tucson, Ariz., is not only a kid at heart, but has a place for kids in his heart. Ledbetter began a 2,300-mile journey today on his bicycle from Vancouver, British Columbia to the San Diego/Mexico border to raise funds for Childhelp, a non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, prevention, and research of child abuse and neglect. He’ll then conclude his trip with a triumphant entrance at the Isagenix 2006 Celebration in Las Vegas.

Tucson’s KOLD-TV News 13 even featured Ledbetter in a recent segment in which he took the opportunity to mention Isagenix. Of course, Isagenix products will play an important role during his trek.

"Isagenix is my meal of choice on my ride," said Ledbetter. "I replace two meals a day with the shakes, breakfast and dinner, and have a conventional lunch. It is working out extremely well. I also have an IsaLean Bar every now and then."

Ledbetter will chronicle his progress through journal entries atwww.fightrider.comas he makes his way down the American west coast.

"I was totally blown away that someone could be this committed to give his time for this kind of a journey," said Childhelp Senior VP of Marketing and Resource Development Steven Stirling.

Last year, Ledbetter raised thousands for the American Diabetes Association when he rode approximately 1,708 miles from Nogales, Mexico to the border of the province of Alberta. The ride was in honor of the memory of his daughter, Michelle Ledbetter, who died of complications resulting from juvenile diabetes in 1987.

Associates can support Ledbetter’s ride and donate to Childhelp by logging into the Back Office.
