One Success from Home magazine that Jo Ann Blackmon gave to an airline employee has yielded 65 people on her team thus far.
Jo Ann and Ron Blackmon of Texas know the power of using the Success from Home magazine as a recruitment tool, but never imagined just how quickly it would accelerate their business in even the most unlikely circumstances.
Last Thanksgiving Jo Ann and Ron took a trip to Louisiana to visit friends. Jo Ann was celebrating her personal success with Isagenix® having lost 20 pounds* and 19.5 inches* and wasn’t shy about sharing her story with an airline employee who noticed her excitement and youthful energy. Short for time, she handed a copy of the magazine to the woman and went on her way.
A few days later, Jo Ann received a call from Karen, a co-worker of the airline employee that she had passed the magazine along to. Karen was looking for a weight-loss system and was anxious to try Isagenix.
Fast forward five months and Jo Ann’s sponsorship of Karen has blossomed into a team of 65 people and growing.
“All of this happened because I passed out a magazine at the airport with my contact information,” says Jo Ann. “The tools that Isagenix offers to support us in building our business are superior.”
Ron and Jo Ann Blackmon enjoyed a stop in San Juan during the Isagenix® cruise they won in the Adventures in Paradise contest.
More importantly than just the growth of her team is the opportunity to help people change their lives, shares Jo Ann. She knows firsthand how life-changing Isagenix can be. She had struggled with her weight for years and had tried over 25 diets and therapies to shed pounds including hypnosis, acupuncture and even a doctor-supervised fasting program.
“Isagenix is a program, not a diet,” explains Jo Ann. “I feel awesome, my energy has increased and I have greater mental clarity.*”
Even after her success with the products, Jo Ann was reluctant at first to jump into building an Isagenix business. She had recently retired as a national sales director for a direct sales company where she had spent the last 37 years building a successful business.
“I have always enjoyed supporting others with their health and the opportunity to turn my personal passion into a profession was undeniable,” says Jo Ann.
Ron and Jo Ann Blackmon sailed the Caribbean with fellow winners, son-in-law Stryker and daughter Robin Dunda. Their daughter introduced them to Isagenix® and is now a 2-Star Golden Circle.
The same passion she tapped into in finally finding a weight-loss solution with Isagenix, she also poured into her business. Jo Ann and Ron have been with Isagenix® for less than a year, but have worked hard to find success including becoming 2-Star Crystal Executives.
“Isagenix is a young, progressive company with a generous compensation plan, remarkable leadership and an outstanding marketing plan,” says Jo Ann. “They truly follow the belief that if it’s not good for the Associates, it’s not good for the company.”
Jo Ann and Ron have set goals to bring 20 people to Celebration, reach 3-Star Crystal Executive and create at least five new Crystal Executives on their team this year. They are also traveling to Australia in May and may expand their business internationally. With over 40 Success from Home Magazines on hand, they will be sure to pack a few because “you never know when an opportunity presents itself,” shares Jo Ann.
“We’re going all the way to the top and are not stopping until we become millionaires,” says Jo Ann. “If Jimmy Smith can do it at the age of 80 and is just beginning, we’ve got our work cut out for us.”
