Network Marketer Finds Success and Financial Freedom With Isagenix®
Shauna was a single mother of three and a salon owner who had spent 34 years as a professional hairdresser. She was introduced to network marketing 11 years ago and fell in love with the concept of creating residual income while still running her own business. In her journey to find the company that was the right fit for her, she ultimately discovered Isagenix® and set her sights on becoming a millionaire.
After meeting Master Formulator John Anderson and Co-Founders Jim and Kathy Coover in 2002, she knew she had found a business that she could grow in accordance with one of her highest values — family. She wanted to become a millionaire, but is quick to point out that her six-year journey to reach this goal was “not a sprint, but a marathon.”
“Although I had not always had great success with network marketing, I knew that I had found the vehicle for creating wealth without feeling like I was strapped to my job,” shares the 55-year-old Texan. “Isagenix was the perfect fit because it was so visual. My business was already about helping others look and feel good about themselves so I knew that if the products worked, I could make a business out of it.”
The starting line for Shauna’s “marathon” was first becoming a product of the product. She began using Isagenix and lost 17 pounds and three dress sizes.* It wasn’t the numbers on the scale that amazed her, but the inches she lost and how great she felt, she says.
Shauna worked at building her Isagenix business and quickly learned that through the power of duplication, she had a business that worked for her around the clock. She knew that this was not the case in traditional business like owning a salon. Despite the warning of friends and clients to keep her day job, Shauna was determined to make it work.
“People referred to my business as that ‘thing’ and asked me if I was really going to do it,” says Shauna. “It makes me wonder what part about this ‘thing’ called network marketing don’t they like. Is it the helping people or making money part?”
Two years ago she was able to retire from the salon and has been able to afford things she never thought were possible like college tuition for her children and a house for her mother.
“With money you don’t change who you become, you become more of who you are,” explains Shauna. “I have the ability to help more people and be more generous and that is so rewarding.”
