“Average Joe” Becomes “Joe Millionaire”

Constant calling and high-pressure selling are not techniques that Millionaires Mark and Laurel find effective. As a 25-year marketing and sales professional, Mark used the old advertising motto of “keep it simple” to build his Isagenix® empire.

He considered himself an “Average Joe” when it came to corporate America and never felt like he could make a huge worldwide contribution. This led to career burnout at age 50 and he decided to make a major lifestyle change with Isagenix.

“I decided to stay home and spend time with my children. While taking care of my kids, I realized it was my time to be someone, to find a business opportunity and thrive at it. The only problem was seeking out the ‘ideal business’ and becoming successful at it,” Mark says. “I’m every man, the guy who wanted time with family and an ‘out’ from the stressful corporate world. Mark never considered network marketing to be a valid business opportunity. He thought it made for an uncertain future. With his new attitude of leaving “no stone unturned,” he tried it. He thought that Isagenix was a logical business because it tackled the issues of Nutritional Cleansing and weight loss, and had proven results. Mark jumped in when Isagenix was in its infancy.

“I figured at the very least I’d make a few people healthier through Nutritional Cleansing and replace my own grocery bill with a nutritionally-sound option. I started telling my story and the business exploded,” explains Mark. “The products work in perfect balance to help anyone improve their health and lose weight safely. It’s not traditional dieting – this makes the concept thorough, appealing and long term.”
