Fast breaks and jump shots used to be Kayla’s specialty as a two-time All-American in college basketball. But just a decade later the mother of two could barely get herself off the floor after playing with her kids.

At 32, the stay-at-home mom was tired all the time and taking medications to combat the effects of her poor health. Although she was with them all day, Kayla knew she wasn’t the fun and active mom she wanted to be for her two young daughters.

“I was fat, unhealthy and unhappy,” remembers Kayla. “I was constantly tired, irritable, and worse yet, I didn’t like who I was.”

After watching her mother-in-law drop four dress sizes,* Kayla reluctantly began Isagenix® as a New Year’s resolution. Still nursing at the time, she did just the shakes and was hooked by the third one. After her first Cleansing and Fat Burning System, she lost 16 pounds and 21 inches.* Her energy level was up and so was her motivation to start working out and doing things with her family.

“My husband had to retrain himself to ask me to do things because I always said no before,” shares Kayla. “Now we spend time with friends, take our girls to the park, go for bike rides, swim. With Isagenix in my body, I feel better about myself and it has had an overall positive impact on my relationships, especially with my husband and girls!”

Even having back surgery in the midst of her journey didn’t deter Kayla, who was back on her feet in just two months and determined to lose the last 25 pounds of her 100-pound goal. She even began playing basketball again. Whether playing pick-up games at the gym or teaching a summer clinic for high school players, the All-American forward is back.

“I can play basketball again and that’s huge because it’s my life,” enthuses Kayla. “I can keep up with the kids and have even beat some of the junior and senior guys. It’s incredible.”

As a Consultant in the business, Kayla loves to be the walking billboard for Isagenix and share her story.

“I am now healthy, happy and confident and want to help others make a difference in their lives,” says Kayla. “ I feel like it is my responsibility to pay this amazing gift called Isagenix forward.”
