Bruce and Theresa of Florida have always exercised regularly but struggled following a strict diet. They knew they could take their fitness and health to the next level with Isagenix® and ironically discovered much more.

Regardless of her strict workout routine and dieting, Theresa had experienced a weight-loss plateau and lacked the energy she craved to keep up with her two children. Her husband Bruce, a former competitive body builder, decided to take up martial arts with his son, but knew he needed to lose body fat and improve flexibility to take on the disciplined sport. Besides, he had his 20-year high school reunion coming up and wanted to get back into peak shape.

After Theresa heard about the success her sister’s mother-in-law had with Isagenix, she was determined to find a way to make it work for her and her husband. As a stay-at-home mom with her husband working two jobs as both a Registered Nurse and firefighter, she was concerned about the cost of the products. Doing the math, she realized she could replace her grocery costs with Isagenix and presented her findings to Bruce.

“The testimony of family is so much stronger than any others we had read about,” shares Bruce. “Plus, we were able to justify the investment so we decided to give Isagenix a try.”

Theresa decided to take their commitment a step further by entering the 2008 IsaBody Challenge™. Though she took “before” pictures, she never really thought they’d follow through to the end of the competition. Still, having the Challenge in the back of their minds and a “before” picture on hand created another level of motivation to catapult them to work harder to reach their goals. It wasn’t long before they each began to notice a change.

“The fat started to come off of my body and I felt greater energy and ended up even losing my cravings for coffee and soda,” explains Theresa, who lost 18 pounds and 24 inches.*

“The system was so easy to follow and was unlike the strict diets I had been on before for body building,” says Bruce, who lost 37 pounds and 33 inches.* “I was able to increase my strength, train even harder and increase my flexibility and mental concentration.”

With backgrounds in the health field both as registered nurses, Bruce and Theresa know all too well how obesity and poor diet can impact health and wellness and are eager to share Isagenix with others. As first-place Challenge winners in the family category, they are investing half of their $10,000 winnings into building their Isagenix business, which Theresa hopes will allow her to continue to stay at home with her children.

Bruce recently tested his improved fitness level as recently earned a gold medal in the Toughest Competitor Alive competition in the International Police and Fire Games. The competition included a three-mile run, 100-yard swim, shot put, sprint, rope climb, pull-ups, bench press and obstacle course challenge. He attributes his bolstered energy levels and fitness to using Isagenix for the last several months.

“Isagenix is the best lifestyle adjustment we ever made,” says Bruce. “Now we can teach others how to take care of their bodies and experience greater health because we have the products to help them get there.”
