Starting Over Later in Life

I learned the lesson of perseverance early in life. I built several multi–million dollar businesses with my partners and felt like my life was going smoothly. Then the economy plummeted and left me bankrupt.

As an older man, I knew I couldn't give up. I strived for new goals and started from scratch using the business savvy I'd acquired throughout the years. Luckily my business took off again, but at a big cost in another way—I lost my health.

Stress is a dangerous thing. My weight was out of control and I didn't make the time to exercise or diet. My idea of a good night was a tub of greasy popcorn on the couch with my family. Hobbling down the stairs while holding the rail was a common practice.

When my wife and I were introduced to Isagenix, the business opportunity intrigued me, but I was in denial about just how much I needed the products. Then one day I saw a picture of myself and felt like I was in shock. I didn't see myself. I saw three words, "tired, old and fat."

Now I'm 28 pounds lighter.* At 66–years–old, I feel younger than I ever have! I've replenished my body and can hike, ski and shoot hoops with my boys! I even impress them with my skills on the court.
The individuals pictured are actual Isagenix Associates and not paid models.

*Weight loss should not be considered typical. In a study performed in 2012 by University of Illinois at Chicago researchers, subjects lost an average of 9 pounds with an average of 2 pounds of the loss from visceral fat after 30 days on an Isagenix system. The subjects also had a greater level of adherence and had more consistent weight loss from week to week compared to subjects on a traditional diet.
